A planning application has been lodged for 125 new homes on the outskirts of a village in the Mearns.
Developer Snowdrop Developments (UK) has applied to build 125 dewelling houses just off the A92 in St Cyrus. The 10.1 hectare site had already been granted planning permission in principle in 2013.The new houses would sizably increase the footprint of the town, with an “articultural field” being tranformed into the new accomodations.
Snowdrop Developments plan to build a combination of detatched, semi-detached and bugelow houses over three phases of development; scheduled over 6 years
A section of the planning boudnary will also be used for “retail/business” use.
On the 1st of March Snowdrop Developments held a public consultation in St Cyrus village hall. Locals were invited to feedback to the developer on the proposed plan.
