Aberdeenshire Council has launched a consultation to remove some existing exclusive disabled parking spaces.
Current plans would see the removal of eight disabled parking spaces, they would be converted to regular parking spaces. Spaces in Drumoak, Inverbervie, Johnshaven, Laurencekirk, St Cyrus and Stonehaven will all be affected.
The majority of Kincardine and Mearns’ disabled parking spaces will be maintained. There are currently 84 exclusive use disabled parking spaces, if the plans are approved then there will only be 76 exclusive disabled parking spaces in the area.
Individuals are encouraged to share their views on the proposed changes.
The consultation runs until the 22nd of June, the papers can be viewed here
