The Banchory Beer Festival has reached the finals of the Scottish Hospitality Awards. The festival, which is now in its fifth year, was founded by two Deeside brothers, Mungo and Guy Finlayson.
The awards which are held in Glasgow annually are to celebrate the high standard of work and commitment provided within the hospitality industry across various categories. Businesses are noimated by the public, the companies with the most nomiations are shortlisted into the finals and then given a chance to showcase their work.
The Banchory Beer Festival was nominated for the “Best Scottish Festival” award and is competeing with festivals from all over Scotland.
Mungo Finlayson said: “I received a phone call a few weeks ago telling us we’d be nominated as finalists. I was absolutely delighted to receive this call, even more so as someone (we still don’t know who) had nominated us, making all our hard work building the festival up over the last few years worthwhile
The awards will take place at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow on Tuesday the 29th of May. A full list of the finalists can be found here
